MONTGOMERY PLACE
HISTORIC PRESERVATION
Located in the Park Slope Historic District of Brooklyn, which is also on the National Register of Historic Places, this townhouse boasts intricately carved brownstone details and metal roofed dormers. This gem stands out in an area already known for its beautiful architecture on tree-lined streets.
The existing exterior conditions were investigated from a lift and rooftops, and measured drawings with specifications for repair were filed with the New York City Landmarks Commission.
Work entailed the preservation and restoration of mahogany windows, metal and slate roofing, carved brownstone, and brick masonry.
